After graduating from Hunter College, I got a job at the Career Development Service office as a Graphic Designer, Video Editor, & Animator. One of my first tasks was to help update the office's branding into something more modern. I set my sights on the office's logo first.

Here is the old logo. It gets the job done, however, I felt that it could use a face lift.

Inspiration from a hero

I looked online for inspiration and came across many logos from major companies, and old superhero comics.

When I crossed the old symbol for Batman, I was inspired to create something I felt would improve the office's branding.

I based the new CDS logo on this old Batman symbol. Sometimes looking back can help you move forward.
